With mid-wave spectral response and Axsys' unique continuous zoom MWIR lens, the camera provides clear, long-range thermal images with superior resolution that enables detection of man-sized targets in excess of 8km and vehicles in excess of 19km.
For optimum ease of use and versatility, the unique remote control 5x continuous zoom provides focal lengths from 100 to 500mm and corresponding fields of view from 1.10° to 5.5° with auto focus and up to 10 zoom presets. With state-of-the-art technology including an advanced cooled InSb detector with a 320 x 256, 30ìm pitch focal plane array that operates in the 3-5ìm spectral range, the FieldPro5X is an ideal choice for marine and high humidity environments. The unit is housed in a self-protected, environmentally sealed nitrogen backfilled enclosure that is stable even in variable climates and harsh environmental conditions.
